January 21 been busy these days.I am still looking for a better job and working at the same time...I have been thinking on quiting my job for the last 3 weeks. I have my B permit....that means I'm legal to stay in switzerland till 2011 without a problem, so I'm less stress about my job. I'm sending more CV, keeping update my colleages about my job search, meeting customers... Tonight I'll start my french course and tomorrow morning i'll have an orientation interview with a friend. Everybody seems helping me lots in order to achieve my career.
I'll keep you update in future events.
Take care all of you. November 13 I'm back in business!!!It's been one year in geneva already. Things are fine, just fine, cause it is hard to get an interesting job in here...but as soon as you get in a good business life changes for good.
My french is improving but I don't feel confident enough to write some sentences in french without spending more than five minutes.
I'll try to be good and update the space more often.

...at the moment...looking for a job in Geneva. October 03 home sweet home!As you know I'm in Spain, in my home town, visiting my family and friends. I left Scotland after over 2 and half years, probably the best time of my life. Time were i meet so many nice and interesting people, some of them I'll see them in the future. It was special the last two weeks there, everybody sent me so much love and that made me feel special and so loved.
Guys from scotland you are Great, everyone of you is amazing.
I could put so many names of people that are going to be with me all my life but I prefer to keep you on my mind cause you know that i'm talking about you.
I would like to thank everyone of you for my farewell even the people who could not make it, you make me feel so special,
Long life to Utopia and its staff.
Easter road will be with me forever.
CHEERS GUYS!!!! August 31 Me voy...pero el exilio continua en otro pais!!!Me marcho de Escocia a finales de septiembre. Me da mucha pena irme pero asi es la vida, futuras experiencias me esperan en otros paises...me voy a suiza. Para los que estais en escocia que sepais que hago la fiesta de despedida el dia 22 de septiembre en Utopia, donde trabajo, Easter Road.
Mi proxima parada sera en Suiza, Ginebra. Estare una semana de paso por barcelona, del 27 sept al 5 oct.
Nos vemos pronto. June 15 De vacaciones...o casi!Ya estoy casi casi de vacaciones, he acabado el college, los examenes de ingles...solo me queda una clase de frances y a dedicarme a trabajar.
He pasado un mesecito muy muy duro, supongo que lo estoy pagando ahora por que me he resfriado en la mejor epoca del anyo...estamos por encima de los 20 grados y con sol.
El college lo he pasado pero estoy pendiente de saber la nota de un examen...en agosto sabre los resultados. En cuanto al examen de Advanced de ingles pues, no espero mucho por que la preparacion no fue la idonea, pero si lo apruebo estais todos invitados a un cocktail aqui en edinburgh.
Ya estamos en el mundial y no veas como ha empezado para spain, aqui hay una pasion tremenda por el futbol, da igual quien juegue mientras se vean goles.

let's get ready to rock!!!Well folks, that's another week gone and everyday all my targets in my immediate life are closer.
On friday I went to our pub to see part of the staff and have a nice chat with a few drinks.
Saturday morning I decided to do something productive and I bought a deskop and a wardrove for my room, I cleaned the room and I distribuited different, there's even more spaces...jejejejje. Saturday gone with no more excitement...well in the cleaning process I found some english books and I start to read the da vinci code...it's interesting and exciting.
That's everything, it's sunday...a shy day in terms of sun...it looks like the sun want to appear..but it's not clear...we will see.
by the way my fingers smell garlic from my lunch...jejejejeje.
Anyway, what I wanted to say from the first moment was that i'm getting ready to deal with my objectives in short term. I'll let you know how the things are going on... April 25 Impotent day!Last night one cash machine retained my credit card without a reason. I had a discussion with two girls throught the phone to try to solve my situation, it was useless.
I felt so really impotent in front of that situation and I ask for responsibilities but they told me...the parties involved are Royal Bank of Scotland as a owner of the cashmachine, Bank of Scotland as my bank....and myself as the victim...Well, they told me this kind of situations happen. Fair enough...but WHO WILL BE THE RESPONSIBLE OF THAT TROUBLE!!!!...they answer to me the same...sometimes happen. For one moment I thought they will tell me MAN, SHIT HAPPENS!!!.
Well, anyway...when I woke up this morning I had a terrible pain on my left knee, I didn't know what it was...I can guess it's because of the physical effort of this days playing on the gardens....and of course: THE BANK STRUCTURE RESPONSIBILITY.
If anybody of you want to know the end of the story...It's like always in real life, sharks win and I lost.... I lost time, credit on my phone, ... and obviously....I lost my credit card and I have to wait for a new card one week. It's ok for me cause I have some cash...but think about that situation.
Update 28.04.06 All my problems are solved. In three days the Bank of Scotland sent me my NEW credit card to my home and I'm again a person. It's funny how much people can do when they work under pressure, I went to complain to one of the Bank offices and in just only three days they sent me my new card. I would like to thank you (if there's a remote possibility they read this) to the staff from Bank of Scotland offices behind the Scottish Parliament. Cheers. April 24 Se acabaron las vacaciones!!Se acabaron las vacaciones, c'est fini!! Han sido unas vacaciones algo especiales, he estado unos dias entre barcelona y Ginebra. Me ha encantado ver a la familia, excepto a mi hermano que para una vez que voy cuando no tienen que trabajar, se me va de crucero con el capitan Stubin.
En suiza me lo pase genial, viviendo lo que es la pascua desde otra perspectiva...si, si...eso de los huevos de pascua. Lo que mas me ha gustado ha sido la temperatura, pese a que alguien pueda quejarse de que no fue buena, a mi como escoces de pro, me ha encantado, no me puse la chaqueta en 9 dias.
Se me han pasado muchas cosas estos dias, el cumple de marga, de diego y sobretodo el cumple del futuro papa...y con esa edad...jejejeje...abuelo Miquel. 30 anyitos nada mas y nada menos.
Os cuento como esta la situacion en edinburgh. Tenemos el pub cerrado por goteras, asi que parece que el jefe ha pisado una shit, estamos medio currando arreglando algo de la parte no danyada...pintando, cambiando de sitio parte de la decoracion...esas cosas. Lo mas duro del trabajo es que hay parte del stock (productos) que vendemos que se van a caducar, asi que entre todos esstamos haciendo un esfuerzo para aprovecharlo, es una lastima que se pierdan tantos litros de cerveza y comida, asi que haciendo un esfuerzo sobrehumano, al terminar de trabajar tratamos de calmar nuestras gargantas sedientas con algo de ese liquido al que algunos llaman rubia.
Deciros que parece que ya ha llegado la primavera...hemos alcanzado los 14 grados.
Desde aqui tambien felicitar a todos los Jordis por el dia de ayer y felicitar tambien a Julio Rey, el ganador de la maraton de Hamburgo y mas felizmente conocido como el hermano de Maria una sufridora de Toledo que vive aqui en Edinburgh. (bendita globalizacion).
April 11 que me voy!!Supongo que mañana alguno de vosotros me verá en carne y hueso. Ya lo tengo todo preparado...ejemm...casi todo, de momento ya he llamado a un taxi para que me venga a buscar a las 7.15...llegaré al aeropuerto sobre las 7.35...acabo de llamar otra vez para preguntar por cuanto se tarda....jejejeje, en esto (aunque mi familia lo dude) he salido a mi madre. Yo creo que ya tengo planes...si puedo el mismo martes iré a comisaria de policia, pero no a entregarme como algunos podeis pensar, simplemente a ver si me renuevan el pasaporte y el dni...aunque sólo me hace falta el pasaporte, asi que el martes...creo que estaré con la familia y reconociendo de nuevo cada rincón de mi casa. El miercoles, dependiendo de la respuesta de la comisaria deberé ir otra vez...o si no, me iré a la playa pq estaremos seguro que a 15 grados más que aqui...jejejejejeje... trataré de ver a gente del poble. Jueves, mercadillo...jejejejeje, a comprar algo de ropita. El viernes me vuelvo via....switzerland...Veré a aline, comeré chocolate y ya os contaré.

My plans are to go to barcelona for a few days till friday, do some paperwork...passport, Id, visit family, eat properly...hehehehe...and try to fill my baggage with spanish meat to do the next stop in switzerland and visit Aline.

Esta semana he estado hablando por messenger o via email con gente que ha compartido sus vidas conmigo en esta aventura escocesa. Llevo como unos dias sintiendome un escoces más. Tengo charlas con los vecinos, que por muy normal que suene en españa, aqui es dificil conseguir. Todo el mundo que conozco habla maravillas de barcelona, que si han estado alli, que si su hermano fue de luna de miel, ... pero lo más curioso, poca gente habla de la arquitectura de barcelona y casi todos...o todos, hablan del Camp Nou. "que estadio más impresionante".
Hay ciertos momentos que me da pena el pensar que me voy a marchar de aqui por que, salvando las diferencias, me siento como en casa. Lo único malo de este pais es el clima, ya tenemos muchas horas de sol, pero sigue haciendo un "pinche" frio, vamos que no pasamos los 10 grados ni de coña.

April 04 Catalan!!!Llevo unos dias que no me controlo nada y eso no puede ser. Muchas veces nos acusan de ser rácanos por haber nacido en catalunya...a que viene todo esto os preguntareis...pues que creo que me he gastado un poco de dinero inutil. He salido demasiado y salir es caro.
Tengo que ahorrar asi que a partir de ahora me voy a tener que centrar en cosas más espirituales como...la lectura,los estudios y esas cosas que cultivan la mente de uno.
Bueno, el domingo por la noche hicimos la staff party, la verdad es que es como una familia y me han acogido muy bien.
Por cierto, para los que lleven dos meses pensando que es primavera, pq el corteingles lo dice, que sepais que esta noche estamos a menos dos grados. Voy a españa el dia 11...justo en semana santa, si llueve, nieva, graniza o algo parecido a algo que no estais acostumbrado por esas tierras....echarme la culpa.

March 24 Nuevo Trabajo y nos vemos pronto.He empezado en mi nuevo trabajo, sigo de barman...vamos que uno de los clientes de mi anterior trabajo abrio un pub y ha comprado mi clausula de rescision...jejejejje. Vamos que me ofrece mas dinero y ademas bonuses de beneficio. El ambiente esta genial y tengo muuuuuucha flexibilidad.
Os informo que voy para spain en unos dias...pero no voy con mucho tiempo, voy a ver a la familia y a quien se tercie...ademas que tengo que renovarme el dni y el pasaporte.
Os explico mi viaje, porque como uno no tiene mucho dinero se hace unos inventos para viajar lo mas rapido y barato posible....
Martes 11 de abril llego a barcelona, vuelo directo desde edinburgh, el viernes 14 ya me marcho. De barcelona vuelo a ginebra donde estare del 14 al 19.
Bueno que quien quiera verme que me diga algo que para hacer un cafe tengo tiempo.
Un saludo a todos. March 17 Long time....long time ago...in a galaxy far away...that could be an example in what it happen to me...it's been a long time without writing.
I've been in switzerland for 9 amazing days with Aline and her family...Serge, Monique and her "spanish" sister Melanie. They gave me such a nice time together, what a nice country!!! Last days in Aline's home town was snowing and everything was like a postcard...we have to recognize it, being spanish we don't see often the snow and it's a pleasure to play with it.
That's for my brother in law...the food in switzerland was amaaaaaaaazing...in fact i think i came back to edinburgh with an excess of baggage...i mean...a few kilos more.
There's so many things to say about switzerland and Aline's family...but just in a brief...it was one, if not the best, holidays of my life.
I came back to edinburgh...come back to work, study...you know, come back to my busy life. I soffer for a few days the postvacational depression but now it's everything ok, I have to catch up with plenty of things, school, french lessons, social life....and by the way...I quit my job!!!!
After two years of full dedication I ask for a pay raise in my salary...nothing strange and nothing really impossible. The new company decided to don't pay me more so...I'm finishing my work with them this saturday, but it's something not to be worry, next week I start in another pub....I will tell you how is going there.
Well, I think that's all.

February 20 I'm going to Switzerland!!!Some of you already know tomorrow I will be in Switzerland.
I'm looking forward to be there and see Aline and her beatiful country, also I will check if there's any chance to get a job, place...etc. because as some of you are aware, I'm thinking to move there. Tonight I start my french lessons in the L'institute Francais d'Ecosse...Je ne pais parle Francais...

February 15 Lo que no me gusta de Edinburgh.Una de las peores cosas que uno puede vivir en edinburgh es la de ver como tus amigos se van poco a poco. No os imaginais como es cuando la gente a la que consideras a tu familia por aqui empieza a marcharse.
Es ley de vida...por que tarde o temprano yo tambien me marchare de aqui...Alguien muy sabia me dijo...yo, yo no quiero ser la ultima en cerrar la puerta, prefiero salir antes.
